Q: How to unlock the speed of my Ninebot Max?
A: There are two options - SN/Region change, which doesn't change the firmware of the scooter, or CFW, which as the name implies, modifies the firmware of your scooter.

Q: What should I do when the app says that my scooter is bound to another account?
A: Change the serial number.

Q: Why can't I see the light control options in the Ninebot app? (Ninebot ES)
A: Because your scooter is not identified as an ES2. Change your serial number to an ES2/4 one.

Q: How to change the serial number of my scooter?

Q: How to go back to stock firmware? Where can I find stock firmware?

A: Only to the rear and only by replacing the entire wheel.

Q: My scooter slows down to 27 km/h when below ~80% battery, why?
A: That's a known issue on first generation motors. To see which generation motor you have, look here (click)

Q: Should I install a mudguard support on my Ninebot Max/Max Lite?
A: While the Max mudguard is stronger than the Xiaomi ones, it can still break after a while. It is recommended to install a mudguard support.

Q: I want to change my Ninebot Max'es serial number but it doesn't work.
A: Conventional SN changing methods were disabled in DRV145, if you want to change the SN downgrade to DRV126.

Q: Can I make my non-folding scooter foldable?
A: It is technically possible but it requires cutting two big holes in the deck and buying a foldable fork, so it's not worth it.

Q: What's the recommended MPC in CFW?

Q: Can I flash my G30L with G30 firmware?
A: Yes

A: If you have an M365 or an M365 Pro then yes. If it's a 1S, Pro 2 or an Essential then the stock one is good enough.

Q: My scooter shuts down after 2 minutes, why?
A: It's a BMS feaure to prevent you from converting it.

Q: How can I unlock the speed of my Aerlang H6?
A: There should be a cable going from the controller, back to the same controller. Disconnect it.
